- Preparation of a full set of general arrangement drawings, construction detail drawings, drainage drawings and calculations. Preparation of all structural design drawings and rebar schedules, glazing schedule, door schedule, and an interior finishes schedule as well as liaison with ESB, Eircom, Bord Gáis etc if required.
- Advertise for suitable contractors in line with the public procurement policy and EU Procurement Directives or select suitable local contractors. Select suitable contractor by using the marking scheme MEAT (Most Economically Advantageous Tender Solution) with marks awarded for submitted tender price, proposed design solution, previous relevant experience, works proposal, project approach and methodology, programme and method statement.
- Act as Project Supervisor Design Process, prepare preliminary Health and Safety Plan design phase, submit AF1 and AF2.
- Structural Design and certification of full construction (foundation/raft, beams, steel structure, hollow-core etc)
- Design Certificate / Lodgement of plans with Commencement notice
- Act as Assigned Certifier- Provide and sign the Certificate of Compliance for the Undertaking of Periodic stage inspections
- Issue and sign-off of stage payments
- Issue certificates of substantial compliance with Planning Permission & Building Regulations
